Cap & gown package: We are planning to distribute your cap and gown packages during the May SEL day on Friday 5/25/22. If you are not in attendance on 5/27/22, you will need to wait until Regent's week to pick up your package. Graduation tickets have not arrived yet, but they will be distributed in June, closer to the date of graduation; we will keep you posted. You must pick up your own package, as we will not be responsible for or replace any lost items.
Friendly reminder about graduation tickets: Each graduate will receive 6 tickets; 1 for the graduate, and 5 for their family. We will not be accepting requests for additional tickets. If you need an additional ticket, please discuss with your classmates...maybe they have an extra ticket that they do not need. Every human being entering the arena needs a ticket, regardless of age. No strollers or balloons will be allowed in the arena.
Prom etiquette: Please be sure that you have read the prom contract in its entirety. Failure to comply with all DOE regulations at this sanctioned event may prevent you from walking at graduation. Please do not jeopardize your graduation day. You've worked extremely hard to get to this point and we are so excited to see you all cross the stage! We expect everyone will be on their best behavior. Let's have a great time!!

Dear seniors and parents:
We are very happy to announce that the senior rings for the Class of 2022 are ready to be ordered. The cost of these beautiful Sterling Silver rings, complete with choice of stone and one name engraved is only $60.00. Boys will receive the Large ring and ladies will have a choice of the Swirl or Heart ring; or choose whichever style you like. Names cannot be engraved on the Heart ring, only initials.
We will be accepting orders now through Friday, December 17, 2021. Friday 12/17/21 is the final day to order and pay for your rings…there will not be any late payments accepted. Please adhere to this deadline.
Payments can be made in cash, or by check or money order made payable to “HS for CTEA”. Our rings will be delivered approximately 12 weeks from the payment due date.
Students should pick up the order form in room 118. Once you have completed the order form, see Ms. Ortiz with their payment in room 118. At that time students will measure their own ring size.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Ms. Ortiz

Class of 2022,
Please see the attached flyer for your senior photos. Please make sure you book your appointments during the summer, as we will not have any dates where pictures will be taken at CTEA. All payments and questions should be directed to the studio, their contact information is on the flyer. Senior photos are not mandatory, but your photo will not be in the yearbook if you do not have one taken.
After you receive notification from the studio that your proofs are ready, you will need to log in to your account and choose a yearbook pose. If you do not choose one the studio will choose one for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Class of 2022,
My name is Ms. Ortiz. I am your Senior Activities Coordinator at CTEA for most things "senior" related, such as senior dues, photos, apparel, rings, prom and graduation.
I'm reaching out to you now to inform you that senior photos will be taken during the summer. In the next few days I will be sending you all the details on how to sign up and book an appointment, the location of the photo studio, etc. Please note that CTEA will not have any dates for senior photos in our building, so you must go to the studio. Portraits USA will be offering flexible scheduling so that you can pick a day that works best for you and your family. Any fees associated with the senior photos will be made to Portraits USA, not to HS for CTEA.
I know today is the last day of classes and I want to remind you that it is imperative that you continue to check your hsfortea email throughout the summer. This is the easiest, most efficient way for us to communicate and keep up with deadlines and information. Senior year goes very fast and you do not want to miss out on anything!!
Additionally, I would like to suggest that you check this page frequently for updates. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me here or at [email protected].
I will be sending out a formal letter regarding senior dues by the end of this month.
Wishing you all well on your finals and exams.
Portraits USA, Inc. is committed to the safety of students, staff and parents. All attire, props and stations are regularly sanitized with Isopropyl alcohol, bleach, Lysol and other CDC approved cleaners, in addition to UV Light sanitation. We have also obtained a large studio space in order to maintain social distance guidelines and have limited the number of students allowed in at once (only those being photographed are allowed in), in addition to obtaining multiple HEPA air filtration systems. Temperature checks and symptom screenings are done and masks must be worn at all times except when the student is getting photographed. We photograph one school a day.
