Dear HSPS and the Greater Crown Heights Community,
The HSPS Community Kitchen exists to serve the families of HSPS and the Crown Heights neighborhood by providing food and personal items for those in need. HSPS has partnered with Trinity Church Commons program to provide free food and household items to families twice a month. The sign up link will open on the 1st and 15th of each month and close one we reach 200 families. We invite all of our community members who may need support to join this free community-based program. Reusable shopping bags will be provided, if needed. We ask that you try to bring your own reusable shopping bags and shopping carts. Each distribution will include 2-4 bags of groceries and other items, including:

Bread

Peanut Butter

Tuna

Fruit
In addition, the HSPS Community Kitchen will provide special orders during holidays, including:

Frozen Turkey, Ham, Pork Shoulders, Chickens

Cranberry Sauce

Peas and Carrots

Stuffing

Pies, Cakes

Health and Hygiene Products
Membership in our program is FREE and no identification or personal information is needed, except a name and email to confirm order. Once the sign up window closes, the first 200 families will receive a confirmation email about pick up.
All grocery packing will be done by HSPS community members who are following all COVID-19 safety precautions, including social distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing all surfaces and items.
Please note, we will NOT collect any biographical information or share this information with anyone. The information is just needed to help us pack grocery bags for pick up. We will only ask for a Name and Email address, so we can send a receipt for the order.
General Monthly Schedule:
1st Week of Each Month-Sign Up (opens on 1st, closes once we reach 200)
2nd Week of Each Month-Distribution (Mondays and Tuesdays)
3rd Week of Each Month-Sign Up (opens on 15th, closes once we reach 200)
4th Week of Each Month-Distribution (Mondays and Tuesdays)
